A delivery for what? Air filters
I truly can see that I’m becoming old, because I’m becoming entirely disgruntled & cynical about basically everything. With each passing day, I find more to moan & groan about. I feel as though the youngsters these days have everything entirely simple, & they have absolutely no idea how privileged they happen to be. Everything these days is available on demand for the most part. It’s instant gratification pretty much everywhere you go, from purchasing things online & having them arrive within the day, all the way to finding your life partner through the magic of various apps on your cell phone. Everything in life is right at your fingertips, pretty much all the time… There is so little pressure or stress & nobody realizes it. Just the other day, I was talking to my nephew who was making complaints about his air quality. Apparently, he recently discovered that he is actually supposed to maintain his air quality control equipment, & his mind was easily blown. For the 20 years that he lived with my brother, he never had to agonize about the air quality or air handling equipment. He actually had no clue that air filter swings were a thing, emergency repairs happened in the middle of the evening, & routine repair service appointments are crucial. I was trying to reason with him about the HVAC appliance conundrum, when he looked at his PC & told me he had a delivery coming soon. A delivery for what? Air filters. Seemingly, you can even sign up for an air filter subscription nowadays, so he never has to even remember to change the filtration unit on his own. Even with auto-delivered air filters & regular reminders to complete the easy maintenance work, he was still grumbling. With all of these modern technological advancements, I don’t see what people can even complain about.
