So, I have a question and I need some advice.
Recently, our air conditioning has been on the fritz. After a while of hearing our air conditioning whir and struggle, I called our Heating and A/C provider for a consultation with an Heating and A/C company. When the Heating and A/C company arrived and looked at our air conditioning, he said it was in pretty exhausting shape because it was not subjected to respected a/c servicing. When I asked the Heating and A/C companys about our options, he told myself and others that I could sign up with an Heating and A/C maintenance plan- it cost a little extra money, however it will extend the life of our air conditioning. The Heating and A/C maintenance plan would give our air conditioning and gas furnace respected ductwork cleaning and servicing. I was ready to sign, and I have it in our hand right now- our Heating and A/C provider is waiting for myself and others to send it back to them. When I started doing some research online, I found out about a ductless air conditioning option. Multi split air conditionings seem to have a forever lifetime- unlike the 30 years or so that you can expect with a regular air conditioning. Multi split air conditionings are also sleeker, quieter and- most pressingly- don’t have ductwork. Getting rid of the ductwork would easily make upkeep much easier and I wouldn’t have to sign on for the Heating and A/C maintenance plan. I’m just not sure what to do. On one hand, multi split air conditionings are pretty high-priced and an Heating and A/C maintenance plan would take care of our air conditioning and gas furnace (and is much more affordable). On the other hand, multi split air conditionings last a lifetime and are a genuinely nice, sleek option. I’m just not sure. What do you think I should do?
