I am an elementary special education instructor.
- I share a room with another instructor.
I do kindergarten through minute grade as well as she does third grade to fifth grade. The two of us trade off who gets the room as well as the great instructor’s desk too; For the most part, sharing a space with another instructor is nice. I always have someone to chat with as well as bounce ideas off of. The room gets twice the amount of materials since all of us have more than one instructors in it. The two of us also decorate our space entirely nice. The only thing that kills me is that the other instructor is going through menopause, then her sizzling flashes are frequent as well as powerful. Anytime she feels 1 coming on she has to open all our windows. The university oil furnace is run off a central thermostat. The two of us can’t adjust the amount all of us get through the air duct. So the only form of weather conditions control is opening the windows. The two of us have had opened windows when it is in the drawbacks. Snow has literally blown into the classroom. I get cold easily as well as love the university heater. Since the other instructor is naturally warmer, I never get to guess the heating though. I spend the toil morning wearing our Winter coat a lot. I don’t dare put on a skirt or t-shirt either. I do long pants as well as overcoats most of the year. Even when it warms up, I am colder. This is because now all of us have to close windows to seal the a/c in. It is entirely terrible to be cold the entire time at work.
