When my daughter told me she was going to be a vegetarian, I almost laughed.
I don’t think people who are vegetarians or vegans, is a funny thing.
I believe everyone has the right to practice their beliefs and if this is a lifestyle they practice, I respect that. Her husband and his family are forcing this on her. My daughter loves her meat just like she loves her heating in the winter, which is something else he is trying to push on her. He wants to keep the house between sixty-five and sixty-eight. She wants the house to be between seventy and seventy-five. When he goes to work, she turns the thermostat up to seventy-two so she can be warm. Before he gets home, the thermostat is turned back down to sixty-five. She knows that he will know the furnace has been running, because of the use of fuel and energy. When she called me in tears because he was angry with her for touching the thermostat, I thought I was right in telling her that she had to work it out. Now, his family is forcing her to go vegetarian with them because of the added cost of her meals. My daughter works for a HVAC company, and she makes good money. Their air conditioning unit was bought at cost because of her working for the company. If he is so worried about money, then maybe he should get a different job instead of working for his father. Without her, they wouldn’t even have health insurance, but she says he wants her to be a stay at home wife now. I hope she dumps him and comes home, but I won’t interfere.
