Have you ever noticed that when you have worked to the point of exhaustion that your body seems to take forever to recover.
This is especially tplot as you age.
When I was younger, I could toil for afternoons on end plus know just fine. Now that I am in our fifties it seems to take myself and others a month to recover from a really exhausting day. With moderate weather comes the added responsibility of yard toil plus this past month has really taken a toll on me. I toil our job for numerous fourths plus then come beach house to try plus get a handle on our overgrown gardens. Just yesterday I spent 3 fourths in the evening trying to get the vegetable garden ready to plant. I paid for it when I tried to get ready for bed. I sit in bed, shivering, even though it was nearly seventy in the house, and my spouse thought I was ridiculous when I asked her where the heated blanket was. She refused to pull it out plus told myself and others to plug in the small portable heating system next to the bed if I felt that cold. I dug it out of the closet plus turned it on high. I know our body was just revolting from all the extra toil because even with blankets piled on top of myself and others plus the heating system going I was still cold. I finally offered up plus went to take a tepid shower to try plus calm our shaking. I really need to pace myself better when it comes to working so hard out in the yard. Either that, or cut down plus hire a landscaper to do some of it for me.
