I never would have never expected our mother’s health to plummet like it did right after I graduated school.
She lived our early teen years mostly in a bed, suffering from dire Crohn’s Disease.
But thankfully, up-to-date treatments steadily improved her health in the ensuing years. It wasn’t enough to put her into remission, but it provided her the ability to live on her own for numerous years separate from any major concerns, just an abdominal flare every now plus then. But, things changed as her anemia worsened plus she developed a condition where she has always at the risk of sepsis in her digestive track. She is weak plus struggles to transfer around on her own after falling on the base of her spine more than one years ago plus cutting her back in six different places. She was in a wheelchair for awhile but now she can walk somewhat well with a cane, even if her balance isn’t perfect, sadly, both of us have dire flu symptoms plus the people I was with and I are in seasoned medical professionals offices plus hospitals all of the time. Many of these places, despite being medical facilities, have seasoned plus nasty aromaing heating plus cooling systems installed inside. I am sick of aromaing mold for an hour or more than one while I impatiently wait in the front lobby of a medical office for our mother to finish her procedure that unique day. These medical offices plus hospitals desperately need to improve their Heating plus Air Conditioning systems; many of their patients are there for respiratory concerns, so you are forcing these exhausting people to endure their flu symptom triggers just to get necessary treatment. I can’t even imagine what I would do if I had to come to a place like this because I was having trouble breathing every day.
