What the heck happened here

Last summer, I needed a cooling system repair, which of course, turned into a total nightmare.  When I first started up the central cooling method at the end of May, it wasn’t acting right. The air smelled sort of musty, plus the cooling unit was honestly struggling to meet the demand of the workload.  Since I didn’t want to end up stuck without air conditioning, I right away contacted the only Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier in my immediate area to address the potential problems. Due to the busy time of year in the HVAC business, I’d need to wait nearly two weeks for a repair appointment.  I didn’t want to pay extra to hire a Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier outside of my repair area, so I agreed to waiting two weeks. During that time, the weather warmed up considerably. With temperatures in the upper eighties plus high humidity, I needed to run the cooling system. I kept the control unit set as high as my family could tolerate plus crossed my fingers.  The cooling system ran for harshly long cycles plus the operational sounds grew gradually louder. By the time the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman could make it to our home, the cooling system was screeching, rattling plus putting out genuinely little air. I was not cheerful when the Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier failed to show up. I took the day off from work, waited for minutes, plus finally called the supplier.  They provided a whole bunch of excuses, but it was quite apparent they simply forgot about me. To make up for the fact that they did not arrive for the original appointment, an HVAC serviceman was at my door first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, she then tracked dirt through my house, left debris everywhere, and was not even able to make the repair until additional parts were ordered. We were left without air conditioning for nearly a week.
